So, have y'all heard of Santana Row? It's the place to be, ya'll. They got all kindsa fancy shops and fancy restaurants. And let me tell you, the decorations they put up for the holidays are just beautiful!
Ah, October through December
Last year around this time, there was all kinda stuff goin' on at Santana Row. They had this Halloween thing called "trick-or-treat street," where all the store owners would give out candy to kids in costumes. So cute! Then, they had this thing called "snow packed weekends," where they made snow outta fake ice and let kids sled down a little hill. It was so much fun to watch!
If Christmas is your jam, let me tell you, Santana Row was the place to be. They had this real big Christmas tree set up, all lit up and decorated with presents underneath. And the decorations in the shops were just gorgeous. It was hard not to spend all my money in there, let me tell you.
Summertime at Santana Row
You think Santana Row is only fun during the holidays? Heck no! Summertime at Santana Row is just as great. They got this thing called "Makers Market," where local artists and craftsmen sell their stuff. And let me tell you, there's some talented folks out there. I got me a really cool necklace from one of the booths there.
Oh, and have y'all heard of the "hot Havana nights" event that they do? It's this outdoor salsa dancing event set up right in the middle of Santana Row. They got this big dance floor set up outside, and a live band playing some really cool latin music. And don't worry if you don't know how to dance, they got instructors there to show you how it's done. It's a real good time.
Another thing I really love about Santana Row is how they're always changing things up. There's always something new to see or do. They got new shops and restaurants opening up all the time. But even with all the changes, it still feels like home to me. And I think that's what I love most about it.
So if y'all are ever in the San Jose area, you gotta check out Santana Row. Trust me, it's the place to be.
